Inverness will be the home for Ness Fm, a new Community Radio Station serving the people in and around Inverness.
Ness Community Radio Ltd will provide a new voice just for you. This station will be a place where the community can discuss or debate local issues. It's your radio station, so you'll be
providing the content while we give you the training and guidance to do just that. Our aim is improve the quality of local life especially for those less fortunate.
Here are a few thoughts about the types of programmes, we would very much like to know your ideas....
Championing equality throughout the Highlands and Islands. Debating local issues.Talk with writers, listen to drama groups, story tellers, travellers, nature lovers etc. Listen and talk with local and visiting musicians. Being Green (that's not sailing on Loch Ness in bad weather): It's all about recycling and not leaving your carbon footprint, encouraging our volunteers and others to ride bicycles.
